In what style do you shoot weddings?
I shoot weddings in a hands-off and unobtrusive fashion as I firmly believe this is the most natural way to capture your wedding day as it unfolds. Your guests and yourselves will be enjoying the wedding day, so it would be counter productive to boss you around, to pose and smile at the camera.
When it comes to the bridal and bride and groom portraits, I believe these images should represent you at your best and that they should be gorgeous and flattering. Accordingly, this will be most like a photo shoot but I will endeavour to keep it casual and relaxed as possible. Generally, I will ask for about 30 minutes to be alone with you both during the day to create some images of you without your wedding party or guests looking on.
Do you photograph formal group shots of family and guests?
Yes. As part of consultation service before your wedding I will ask for your list of group photographs that you want. Please bear in mind that a very long list of posed images will reduce the amount of time you will spend mingling with your guests during the drinks reception.
How many pictures will we receive?
You will receive upwards of 300 images. All the images will be fully edited and print ready. I will retain the copyright to the images. The images you receive will have a release allowing you to make unlimited reproductions for personal use.
How long does it take to get our products and images?
Online galleries are posted within four weeks of the wedding date. Digital files are available within six weeks of the wedding date. Upon final approval of your wedding album design, albums will be ready for delivery within nine weeks.
Do you come to the ceremony rehearsal?
Yes, if there is an opportunity to do so.
Can our family and friends take pictures with their cameras? will that bother you?
Your family and friends can take pictures and it does not bother me so long as they do not interfere my shooting. Cameras during cake cutting, throwing of the bouquet, dancing and other events are welcome.
With group shots, I always give other people behind me a few moments to take their own shots after I have taken mine.
For the bridal images and the bride and groom portraits, I request that no friends or family with cameras be present as I have found they can be distracting and extends the time it takes to do the portrait session.
